PUR2o founder Antonio Cernuto is a pioneer in the water filtration and purification industry. He has been dedicated to improving the quality of drinking water for his clients for more than 30 years. His first office opened in Toronto, Canada, providing water purification systems for residential and commercial use.
PUR2o was launched in 2006 as a sustainable company in New Jersey, USA. Part of the goal then was to educate people about the scourge of plastic bottles on our planet, the amount of fossil fuel needed to make each bottle and bottle the water, and transportation. Antonio and his crew tirelessly set up Hydration Stations at environmental festivals whenever they could.
In 2010, a wellness practitioner challenged the quality of PUR2o Alkaline Plus water. After a series of tests—using her equipment for analysis—Antonio proved how safe & healthy PUR2o drinking and cooking water is. He then understood sustainability and wellness go hand in hand.
As our environment changed, the demand for clean, safe and healthy drinking water grew. As a result, Antonio’s company also grew internationally. Using his expertise and seeing the health and environmental dangers of plastic bottles and a real need to eliminate them from landfills, he partnered with Mizar Turdiu to offer state-of-the-art drinking and cooking water systems as well as whole-house filtration systems to the USA.
PUR2o, Water for Life. Health. Wellness. is a Water Filtration and Purification company unlike most others.
Antonio and his team of water treatment professionals are committed to providing every one of their clients with crystal clean, Alkaline and Ionized water, with added Molecular Hydrogen for drinking and cooking. He also provides the latest in whole house filtration systems to tackle even the most compromised water.
The PUR2o Alkaline Plus System for drinking and cooking was developed by Antonio nearly 15 years ago and has become the premier system in the line of PUR2o water remediation systems. The system filters and purifies incoming tap water, which is then re-mineralized and delivered straight from your tap.
Every PUR2o Whole House installation is customized to meet the needs of individual clients – PUR2o does not install “one-size-fits-all” systems. Incoming water is tested for contaminants, the size of the home and family are factored in to provide the optimal solution to problem water.
Antonio guarantees professional, uninterrupted service for as long as a client owns the PUR2o Alkaline Plus System or any of our point-of-use or point-of-entry installations.
As a water treatment professional, Antonio realizes how compromised water is everywhere and whether retrofitting an older home or equipping new construction, installing water remediation systems has become a foregone conclusion. He strives every day to ensure his clients are happy and satisfied with their safe & healthy water!
Beginning in 1985, Mizarʼs career in television broadcast journalism took her from the east coast out to Middle America and the Bible Belt and back again to New Jersey which she still calls home.
As a news anchor/reporter and feeding a passion born as she watched her father crushing tin cans, stacking newspapers and separating the clear, green & brown glass for recycling back in the early 1960ʻs, Mizar resonates with everything environmental.
Many of the stories which she researched and on which she reported over her television career, focused the many environmental issues affecting our planet.
When she and Antonio Cernuto launched PUR2o in August 2006 she insisted the company adopt a dual mission; one of providing safe & healthy water for its clients, and just as importantly, maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and the environment.
Mizar’s goal is education…specifically when it comes to water, one of our MOST important natural resources. Water is finite…that is, the same water dinosaurs drank, that flowed through Mesopotamia and Sumer in the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, and in which ancient Romans bathed, may just be the same water in your glass of water.
Knowledge is power and while sometimes knowledge is scary as hell, when folks understand that all water is not created equal, that there is no longer such thing as perfect water from nature, that marketing information for bottled water companies is vague and at times not truthful, they are then able to make educated decisions when it comes to water and their health & wellbeing.
